Ho eretto una pira, a migliaia di miglia da qui, affinchè illuminasse il mio lungo viaggio di ritorno verso Casa. Cavalco una cometa. Il mio cammino è troppo lungo per indugiare oltre. Il silenzio è un macigno pesante. Combatto il mondo, e prendo ciò che ha da offrirmi, ma talvolta il mio cuore è così giù. Sono nato per camminare controvento, sono nato per udire il mio Nome: ovunque io sia, sono solo.

Taglia tutti i ponti col passato: non lasciarti vie di fuga - c'è solo una strada che conduce a Casa. Quelli che ridono e ti affollano il sentiero e si tagliano la gola l'un l'altro, cadranno come neve che si scioglie al sole. Ci vedranno Sorgere col Fuoco nei nostri occhi: chineranno il capo, e i loro cuori saranno assai tristi. E allora saremo noi a ridercela, e loro a inginocchiarsi, e capiranno che questo Cuore d'acciaio è troppo duro da rompere, troppo forte per poterlo trattenere.
