With 3D World Map you can browse the earth in 3D,and
get some information of 269 countries and entities,locate and compare 30000 cities in the world,compute distance
between any two points on the earth,and more.
The earth model is real 3d,you can amplify the altitude to see how the earth looks like.also you can run
the program as screensaver,with the amazing earth displayed on the screen.
There is an mp3 player for listening to music during you browse the world,it will pick a number of songs
randomly from several directories or from all files according your settings every time the program starts.
Almost everything is costomizable in this program,you can change the color of the earth,the color of any button
or any windows and the text,if the text is too small or big,just zoom in/out by left and right drag together.

Unzip the files,Run setup_3dwmap.exe.
When the 3D World Map is running,press F2,click Enter Regcode
Button to enter Regcode.
From Control Panel run Add/Remove Programs,select 3D World Map.
Or Start Menu/program/3D World Map/uninstall 3D World Map.
General Settings
- Altitude Color--Set color according altitude.
- Display Settings for screensaver--Set display resolution and color depth,this will take effect
for screensaver only,if select automatic,it will use the desktop settings if your card support.
- Shade Land--Enable shade of land.
- Shade Ocean--Enable shade of ocean.
- Longitude Latitude Opacity--The Opacity of longitude and latitude grid,if set it to the smallest,no
longitude and latitude grid displayed.
- Ocean Opacity--The opacity of land.
- Land Opacty--The opacity of ocean.
- Amplify Altitude--To amplify the altitude above the sea level.
- Camera settings for screensaver--You can select from three types of camera moving mode.
- Near Point--The nearest point of the camera to the center of the earth.
- Far point--The farthest point of the camera to the center of the earth.
- Speed--The moving speed of the camera.
- Save as--Save the current settings in other name.
- Delete--Delete the current settings.
Mp3player Settings
- Enable Mp3 Player--Enable/Disable Mp3 Player.
- Maximium files to play--If your mp3 files exeed this number,the player will pick this number files to play.
- Spectrum Analyzer--Enable/Disable Spectrum Analyzer and Playback Buttons.
- Randomize at start--Randomize the mp3 list when start the program.
- Top--Move the selected mp3 files to top of the list.
- Up--Move the selected mp3 files up a step.
- Down--Move the selected mp3 files down a step.
- Bottom--Move the selected mp3 files to bottom of the list.
- Add directory--Add a mp3 directory,not include subdirectories.
- Add Files--Open mp3 files and add them to mp3 playlist.
- Remove--Remove the selected mp3 files from the list.
- Remove All--Clear the playlist.
- Left Drag--Move a button,window or the earth.
- Left Right Drag togehter--Zoom in/out a button,window or the earth.
- Right Click--Right click a button or window will bring up a window to change colors.
- Locate a city--Click a city on the earth,the city list window will scroll to this city,click a city in the
city list window,the earth will turn around to the city.
- Compute Distance--Click Distance Button,click source point,then click target point,the distance will be
displayed.Right click to clear the distance,you can display 16 sets of distance the same time.
- City Button--Open /Close city list window.
- Country Button--Open /Close country list window.
- Day/N Button--Toggle On/Off Day/Night area.
- Terr Button--Toggle On/Off draw territory.
- Distance Button--Toggle On/Off distance mode.
- Infor Button--Open/Close country information window.
- Center Button--Center the globe and make the north always up.
- Help Button--Open/Close the help window.

- The data used in 3D World Map are all public available data,most data have been taken from: the gtopo30,the Micro
World Data Bank,the World Gazetteer,The CIA World Fact Book 2001. you can use the data and screenshots produced with
the 3D World Map freely.
The cities's altitudes have been computed out from the gtopo30,because the resolution of gtopo30 is only
about 1 km,so you can not surpose the altitudes are always accurate.
